HYDRATION
Your body loses performance as you get dehydrated. At just a 2% decrease in body weight from sweat you are seriously impaired. Taking in water and electrolytes is key to maintaining performance over time, especially with that hot sun beating down on you.
FOCUS
The mind is just as susceptible to fatigue as the body when you are out in the elements; especially with low energy availability or dehydration. Do everything you can to keep your mind alert, fueled and hydrated.
